Born in Tampico Tamaulipas and raised in Veracruz Mexico, Esteban moved to the US by the age of 8. Soccer has always been a passion in the Reyes family and Esteban excelled since an early age. As a player at the age of 14 he was recognized as one of the very best youth players in the country by leading his Crossfire Premier team to four consecutive state championships along with a national title (Manchester United premiere Nike Cup USA finals).
He continued his career with the U23’s Sounders, winning the 2012 northwest championship and becoming the Western Conference champions.
Esteban’s love and passion for coaching began when a friend asked to help coach his son’s team. He then proceeded to give HS coaching a shot and in 2012 he was the head JV coach for the girls at Henry M. Jackson high school. After both experiences he knew coaching was something he felt was a way to help young players become the best players possible by sharing his experiences as a player and also being a role model.
In 2012-2014 was the head coach for Tynecastle premier U12-U14 Boys teams. Esteban joined FC Alliance premier for the 2014-16 seasons and will be the head coach for GS Surf 05 A and 04 B teams. Currently holds a USSF E-License.
In his free time he likes to spend time with his family, watching Real Madrid, reading the Bible and playing soccer with his friends.
