M’ily “Emily” Reiter begins her tenure with Greater Seattle Surf as the Associate Girls Coaching Director after having six successful Head Coaching years with FC Alliance and also serving the last three as the FC Alliance Manager of Media, Design and Communications.
Reiter grew up in Billings, Montana, graduating from Billings Senior High School as a 4-year, 4-sport Varsity Athlete and 2006 Montana Athlete of the Year. Upon graduation, Reiter played at Eastern Washington University for a season prior to transferring to Seattle University for the duration of her college career. Reiter played in the W-League for the Seattle Sounders Women from 2009-2015 as a key center-mid. Reiter is currently playing for Olympic Sports Academy (OSA) a team in the WPSL.
Reiter’s coaching experience includes her six year stint at FC Alliance, winning back-to-back President’s Cup Championships in 2013 and 2014 and winning the Donosti Spain International Tournament with FC Alliance GU15A in the Summer of 2015. Reiter is in 1st year as the Shoreline Community College Asst Women’s Coach and works with the Washington EPD Program, as an Asst Coach (2014-present), currently working with the WA G00 Team. She was also the Nathan Hale Varsity High School Head Coach from 2010-14, where they had two undefeated 10-0 seasons and was named All-Metro Coach of the Year in 2010 and 2012.
When Reiter is not coaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, brother, sister and her beautiful niece and nephew. Her hobbies include writing, graphic design, photography, hiking, biking, swimming, running, football, basketball and watching any kind of soccer!!!
