Originally from Mar Del Plata, Argentina, Rikky Falagan joins the Greater Seattle Surf Coaching Staff after three years with FC Alliance.  Rikky has several years of playing experience in Argentina, China, and the United States, including Argentinian youth club Atletico San Lorenzo, and a tryout with Boca Juniors Academy.  He then move to La Plata to play with Estudiantes for two years.  Rikky also played professionally in Argentina with Atletico Huracan and Atletico Bandfield, and San Lorenzo, winning an Argentina 1st Division Championship in 1995.  He scored 2 goals in that final match.  He also played 1st Division in China for Club General Taishan.

Rikky’s coaching experience in Washington began at FC Edmonds in 2010, where he coached the U12 and U13 boys teams.  He then spent one year at Seattle United in 2012 with the U11 and U14 boys teams.

Rikky moved over to FC Alliance in 2013 and has spent the last three years working with the U10-U15 boys teams, where he guided the U10 Boys win Challenge Cup 3 in 2013, and several appearances in the Northwest Champion’s League, where he won with the B01 in 2014.  The team went on to Indianapolis for the US Club Nationals and the USYSA Far West Regionals in Idaho.    The team also were 2nd place in the Far West Regional League, and culminating into becoming a State Finalist in 2014.  At Alliance, Rikky heads the Junior Premier Program, the Youth Academy, and leads the speed and agility program.

Rikky holds a USSF National B-License and is a Spanish-speaking Instructor with the USSF D and E License courses.  In his spare time, Rikky is also a Spanish commentator for the Seattle Sounders for ESPN Radio, Tevionline, KXPA  Radio AM 1540, and La Hora Sounders.
