GREATER SEATTLE SURF SOCCER CLUB PARTNERS WITH TOCA AT NEW LOCATION
Starting this fall, Greater Seattle Surf Soccer Club will partner with TOCA Football at its new Lynnwood facility to provide the revolutionary TOCA Training method to Surf’s premier soccer members.
The TOCA Training method employs its small-ball philosophy and TOCA Touch Trainer, a ball delivery machine, to dramatically improve precision, elevate playing skills and build confidence to perform at the highest level. The new facility in Lynnwood is an expansion from TOCA Redmond location, also operated by the Schmetzer family with a 40-year history of developing college and professional soccer players.
“Offering our players the opportunity to use a world-class training method like TOCA is something that will not only be unique but also very beneficial,” said Greater Seattle Surf’s Director of Soccer, Jason Farrell. “Ball mastery builds confident young players which will have a very positive impact on the field. I look forward to working with the TOCA staff to create something special for our club.”
TOCA Lynnwood location boasts four training Studios, primarily used for individual and pairs private sessions, providing quality repetition (approximately 200-300 touches within a 50-minute session) focused on game-like situations in a controlled environment. The new location, 18021 Alderwood Mall Parkway in Lynnwood, is slated to open to the public on November 10.
“This is an exciting time for TOCA as we expand and reach a deeper soccer audience in the Pacific Northwest,” said Eddie Lewis, TOCA Founder and former 15-year professional. “The TOCA platform is helping players refine a specific area of their game. I’m incredibly proud of TOCA’s rapid growth and impact on player’s development in the U.S. and internationally.”
“We’re excited to partner with TOCA over the next year and beyond, ” said Joe Hampson, Executive Director of Greater Seattle Surf.” It’s abundantly clear that we share the same values of developing the whole athlete and building a lifelong love of the game for children in our community.”
